A friend and I loved the Merry & Bright Detroit Bus Tour! Sully was a great driver, and Kit was an engaging and delightful guide. The stops were well-planned Detroit highlights, with even a surprise historic park visit. The light displays were stunning, the photo ops endless, and the Ugly Sweater contest was a blast—I won! Thank you for such a festive, family-friendly experience that truly lives up to its name.

That was the worst trip and a complete waste of money. If you want to ride in a freezing school bus then this tour is for you. They stopped 6 times and you had at the most 20 minutes a couple 10 minutes. Save your money and tour Detroit on your own.

We enjoyed a fun evening doing the Holiday Lights Tour. Plenty of great spots to take photos, candy cane shots, and fun, friendly staff made this a great start to the Holidays.

The was not a great experience and definitely not worth $55. The only real stop was “The Congregation.” They told us it was an hour stop but that the bus was leaving at 6:45 but the bus didn’t show up until 7:15 so our group and a bunch others were out in the cold for 30 minutes. Central station was a ride by, Fischer Theater was basically a bathroom break of about 15 mins and nothing was open. Beacon park was much of the same nothing to do and a 10 minute stop. I do not recommend it would be better to get in an Uber and plan it out. The only lights we saw were at Campus Martius. The advertisement is very misleading.

I just went on the Drunks of Antiquity: Detroit's Historic Bar Tour and it was a complete bust. First, our guide, Jeff, knew about the bars we were going to but nothing else about Prohibition (it started in Detroit three years before the national ban) or the speakeasies in people's basements. I was hoping to learn about Detroit's history with alcohol and came away with nothing.Second, the bars we went to were indeed old but not that interesting. That is a subjective opinion, I realize. But our last bar, which Jeff had promised would be the most interesting, with live music and an outdoor patio, was booked with a private event so we couldn't get in. We walked in and were immediately shown the door to leave. This bar is on all of the Detroit Bus Company tours so why the tour people didn't know about the private event is just unprofessional. Jeff took us to another bar as a replacement but it was pretty boring and the manager was NOT happy to see us because he didn't know we were coming and he was short-staffed. All in all, a waste of our money.
