With over 30 years of experience, I teach and perform rock, blues, jazz, pop, folk, country, classical, and Latin styles. Performances range from private events (e.g., weddings, conferences, corporate events, celebration of life). My repertoire consists of thousands of songs. As a teacher, I offer one-on-one private lessons from beginners to professionals, from as young as 4 years-old up to students in their 80s. Most students live across the United States and meet online; however, in-person lessons are available to those in the Claremont area. I encourage the musical interests of the students and teach players to be self-reliant so they can learn from themselves and develop the tools to resolve future challenges. I dedicate myself to finding the most effective ways to help each student grow musically while making the learning process enjoyable.
