tripadvisorA fun look at history & development of the place. Two things were negative. One, our guide referred to Lake America as Lake Ontario (wrong!). This is America, not Canada. Two, she was oblivious to the walking speed/ability of the group; she was always YARDS ahead of us. Annoying to feel like we had to speed walk to stay with her.All things considered, it was fun. On the plaza by Nicola Tesla, you will likely get sprayed from Bridal Vein mist and American Falls. And if it's windy, it'll be chilly quickly (of note).Lastly, having done both Canadian and American sides, the US have the worst view...by far. Terrapin Point is to the right if Horseshoe and to the left of American. The only GREAT view of both, from the top, is on the Canadian side.
MoreNiagara Falls is a beautiful place to visit. It was a much larger park thank I expected. There is a Trolleybus to get you around, there are many stairs to walk so make your plans to accommodate for that. We had a great time. We only had 1 day there so we made the most of it.
