This is a great brewery with beer and wine on tap. Don’t let the location scare you away - the area is in transition with lots of construction. Live music and a food truck - both very good. The Smokin Cactus food truck is here and is awesome! I wish trip advisor had food trucks in their search engine. The food was great and reasonably priced!

Panther Island is several acres of land along Trinity river with indoor and outdoor event centers. It has Texas's only waterfront venue where you can sit in inner-tubes and listen to live concerts. The Shack is an indoor center for concerts, events and general use. I spent Saturday morning here for Ft Worth's Run und Ride Oktoberfest. I paid $50 to participate in the 20 mile bike ride through key areas of Ft Worth (Pavillion, TCU, zoo, water garden, stockyards). I received a shirt, medal, stein, one beer, access to Octoberfest and free parking. The event planners did a great job directing traffic and getting everyone into the parking lot. After the bike ride, the pavilion was the gathering place for amusement rides, booths, and stages. I enjoyed Octoberfest beers and German atmosphere. The polka music, sing alongs and dachshund races were great. Great venue

Good size and convenient and easy to get to but we went for a large music festival and the setup was awful. Way too many people allowed in with such a narrow setup that it became dangerous when lightning caused an evacuation. The venue needs to place value on safety instead of just focusing on profits.

It just keeps getting better every year! Oniy thing better would be for the temperature to be cooler! Always a blast at this one ! Love the food and Spatan has been the sponsor the years we’ve gone there ! Love Spatan! Will definitely go next year as well !!

I was there for the first Rocking The River event of 2018. What's not to like? Plenty of FREE parking. You can bring your own float to the river. The music is all free and there's a fireworks show at the end. No one seemed to get too out of hand. There were even people picking up trash constantly. You can rent lockers, there's plenty of food vendors with reasonably priced food (all run by charities) If it pours (like it did when I participated in 2017) they even have an indoor venue!
