tripadvisorScenic, easy walking paved path! We felt safe and it was easy for our young kids to ride their bikes around the outer trail and fun going down to the dirt paths to peek inside the ponds and water areas. There is a port a potty near the trail head and water fountains in spots but they weren’t on when we went. If you haven’t been there yet, go!
MoreIt is a nice place for a walk. It needs more trees but they will grow. The path is well maintained & people are nice. You feel safe.
MoreJust on the East side of Redding and looking for a short walk or a place to run or ride your bike, Clover Creek is a great and convienent place to go. Make sure you keep your dog on a lease, you will get a ticket.
MoreI took my kids (4-10) here today. It took us a lot longer than people without kids to walk around the whole preserve but the lakes / wetlands were very beautiful. The kids loved watching all the ducks. A great place for a family walk!
MoreThis is a very open paved place to walk around a very large pond/small lake area. It is very safe because you can see across the pond from every place you walk. There is no bushy undergrowth around the walking path but it is nicely landscaped. The trees are beginning to grow some but they do not block the walk area from full view on either side of the paved walking path path. It is wheelchair accessible. I think it is about a mile walk around the preserve. Go early if it's summertime. It gets hot in Redding in the afternoon and remember a hat.
