We stopped to walk around the sculpture gardens and were not impressed. I’m sorry, but the sculptures were weird. We tramped around in tall grass and got eaten by mosquitos.

We sought out Anderson Center at Tower View to see the horse sculpture made out of metal parts which is listed on RoadsideAmerica. The Anderson center has its history in the Anderson family who were responsible for discover Puffed Wheat and Puffed Rice. You can enter the area without an admission fee and take in the grounds, tower and outdoor sculptures. There is an art center on the grounds that may require a fee ut we didn't go in. The fall colors on the grounds were also stunning.

We simply walked the grounds as there was not an event that day. Definitely worth driving by even if you don't have time to walk.

Decided to have a romantic picnic dinner among the sculptures in the sculpture garden just west of the buildings. It was a beautiful setting. Only downside was that mosquitoes like to dine there as well. Suggest you try to get there before the sun starts setting or bring some repellent. It's a beautiful setting for a picnic or stroll among the vast park filled with interesting artwork that inspires conversation.

My husband and I stopped while in town and really enjoyed the visit. The personal tour was interesting and enjoyable. They have beautiful traveling art in the upstairs exhibit and pieces from historically known artists in the basement. The barn and grounds are pretty exceptional.
