Ugly Baby Gifts ·$$

Owned by the creative duo Rosalie & Douglas Gale, Ugly Baby is a quirky art supplies and gift store. This store beholds many novelties, such as the fact that nearly every product sold here is created by the owners. Right from statement t-shirts to tools for DIY crafts, the store is home to a plethora of art pieces and supplies. Although the most notable of them is certainly the collection of shower art, i.e., waterproof art that can be displayed in your shower! If you want to find the Seattle quirk, this is a perfect store to stop at. Short of Fremont and Capitol Hill, this puts the weird on the biggest display. It's a bit hard to find if you're unfamiliar with Pike Place, but it's worth finding down there at the bottom of the market. The lady there is incredibly nice; she actually gave my wife a free big sticker because it matched her skirt.

This is a fun shop to look around in near the Pike Place Market! We loved the shower art and the quirky gift items. The staff was friendly and everything was well priced. Our shower now has a souvenir for us to look at while we shampoo!
