Beautiful space. Local artist's works on display in the Gallery. It includes a Performance Hall, a Gallery, and rooms for art and pottery classes.

We viewed a show by Roger Nass that consisted of and highlighted his wood working ability. We have gone to virtually every show at the art center and this one was certainly one that appealed to us. Mr. Nass was on hand to explain what went into his creations. Excellent show!!

We have been here many times for fund raising events and such. This time was for the Friends of OAC Luncheon. Silvan Durban did a fantastic job along with all the other people involved. The location is great to visit with all the history of the Orphanage and art work, including the stain glass portable walls.No matter what the reason to go here, it is always very relaxing.

The Art Center again hosted a secret garden tour again this year. You buy tickets and are given addresses of people that have opened up their yards to show all of the work they have put into the gardens. The proceeds go to benefit the Art Center. I was surprised that they had it this year, however everyone did social distancing and wore face masks. It was an excellent way to spend a couple of hours on a sunny day in Owatonna. Hat's off to the Art Center.

While checking out the State School Orphanage we stumbled Ito the Owatonna Arts Center. Nice surprise. Made the stop even more worth it...
