4 of us decided to go out for breakfast or lunch and wanted to go down by the beach. We walked down the street in Encinitas and found tables outside and took a quick look at the menu. There were others enjoying the great weather and food . We were greeted quickly and seated quickly. Server was very good and got our order quickly as well. Food was good and portions were very good. Toasted turkey, bacon and avocado on sourdough with fruit bowl was very good. Great place to eat and ‘people watch ‘!
MoreThe City of Encinitas has done a fine job making the main street (old 101) and side streets attractive, with plenty of parking and a transit center. The selection of dining and drinking establishments is extensive, with many foreign cuisines represented and prices at all levels, from budget to almost-gourmet. Good for people-watching, too.

On our long walk from Cardiff to Encinitas, we were impressed with the level of activity and vitality of this stretch of Highway 101.
