Scarlett Hepworth teaches adults and young people 13 and over to sing with confidence, skill, and authenticity. A well-known San Francisco area actress, Scarlett brings to her studio a knowledge of performer's "tricks of the trade," as well as years of experience as a music director, accompanist, composer, and musical theater performing artist. One-hour lessons are fun, informative, and non-threatening. Many students have gone on to careers in the theater; but Scarlett also caters to people returning to singing after many years, who just want to croon a tune at the piano bar, sing at a wedding, or learn those opera arias they've always loved. Though Scarlett is anchored in musical theater, she is familiar with many genres: classical, jazz and pop standards, gospel, folk, British music hall, and sacred song.
