Located on the East side of the 5 freeway. Not in the best part of town and nowhere I would let young children run around without an eagle eye watching. Lock your car and do not leave valuables in sight. There were quite a few homeless people and some pretty sketchy goings on between a few people loitering in the parking lot. May I suggest: Stagecoach, Poinsettia and Alga Norte if you also want a separate dog park.

Well maintained family park available for parties, weddings and outdoor events if you schedule ahead.

Kids enjoy it and I enjoy watching the kids having fun. Good for pre-school girls and boys. My grandchildren usually find other kids to play with at the park, which makes it even more enjoyable.

This park seems to attract a lot of homeless and people living in their RV s and cars parked near the park.

I grew up in Carlsbad, this park has been here for at least 50 years, it is right off of the freeway and very nicely kept up. Great for family picnics or just take a chair and read a book, lots of shade.
