When I first arrived at this bar, I felt I had walked into a strictly locals place. But after interaction with the bartender (Emma) and a couple locals, I felt right at home. This is a great, somewhat eclectic, spot. It was Leap Day and they had specials for the day, including a guy drawing caricatures of patrons. The place is FILLED with interesting memorabilia. Not much in the way of food, but I had two great hot dogs to help soak up the three different IPA drafts I drank. And if you are into Jameson Irish whiskey, this place is a must. When back in Santa Cruz, I would definitely stop here again.

Felt like a bar for locals but everyone (especially the barman) made us feel welcome! Enjoyed decent IPA and a couple of JD & Coke. The Foo Fighters pinball was a plus :)

I had a nice time enjoying a few drinks and playing pool, nice folks and I also enjoyed the beef jerky!

this place is exactly what you want in a total dive bar. Very colorful locals who are professionals at dive bar attendance. locals only. If you are into that- this is your place. Bradys has been around for 40 years +. pool table. try to blend in and good luck. If you are friendly, so are the patrons.

This is definitely a dive bar. The drinks aren't great. There are some annoying patrons. But if you go late-night with a big group of friends it's fun. There is a pool table and also a photo booth. Juke box. It's pretty small and they do check ID's at the door. I would never have gone here normally, but one friend in the group said it would be fun and it was, but because of our friends. The bartenders were very nice.
