We were delighted to see the Male and Female Hooded Merganser at George Pierce Park
Suwanee Creek Greenway Hiking Trail

Like most other Indian hamlets that flourished in Georgia in the early 18th and 19th centuries, Suwanee also grew from a small Indian settlement into one of the most prosperous cities of America. Established in the year 1837, the city is bordered by the Chattahoochee river on all its sides and is consistently counted as one of the best cities to live in the country. Suwanee's Town Center Park is one of its famous leisure attractions, which also serves as a lively venue for a number of community and cultural events. Big Splash is a one-of-its-kind fountain at the park, built with 43 water jets. Nature lovers can also look forward to an adventurous jaunt hiking the Suwanee Creek Greenway trail, which features wildlife and wooded zones.

Had to get out the house and finally walked the trail. Very beautiful and scenic location. Always great to experience nature. Running water and wildlife all around. Must visit if you're in Suwanee

Great place for disc golfing, watching the fountains or hanging out for a party in the park. Great little shops and restaurants.

We love the hidden trail that runs by the small waterfall. Plenty of room for a nice, quiet walk. We go there often for our weekly walk.

My wife and I greatly enjoy walking on this greenway through the woods with the Suwanee river running along beside the trail in several sections. We have seen deer just a few away several times. However, be aware that portions of the greenway flood after heavy rains and become muddy.
