The Greater Washington Dance Center's mission is to provide the highest level of artistic and technical training, as we foster the child's love of dance and develop the life long skills of hard work, dedication and reliability. GWDC dancers are trained in a uniquely American style of dance. They learn by combining the logic and precision of ballet and the dynamism of contemporary dance all wrapped with the intent to nurture the individual's creative, social, intellectual and spiritual development. Our goal is to develop the most versatile dancers and passionate performers who are able to jump from style and genre easily and seamlessly. Piano lessons! GWDC is pleased to welcome Inessa Mir-Aliyeva to the faculty. Ms. Mir-Aliyeva is a seasoned piano teacher with vast experience teaching piano to children!
