Lullwater Park Park

Located on the banks of the Candler Lake at the Emory University, Lullwater Park is an expanse of green that offers stimulating trails across the dense countryside. A popular spot for jogging, it also functions as a beautiful picnic site for families. There is a quaint foot-over bridge, a mini creek and waterfall that give a countryside feel. Enjoy fishing by the lakeside too.

Lullwater Park is one of my favorite parks in our local area. It's a very wonderful, beautiful and secluded place to be having a relaxing time. I love to walk around here and look at the beautiful views. I have been lucky to meet a deer, but that was after my 6th visit, so I hope you will see one to. You will also find many birds and ducks!

This is truly a beautiful spot in Atlanta. Since Emory is closed you can get parking pretty close to the park on Clifton. Hahn woods is another way to access the park.Kids love interacting with the ducks.

Some areas are paved and others aren’t. Signage isn’t particularly clear. Nice and quiet like a private park. Not too much to look at but good shade. The water feature was ok. The tower is covered in graffiti.

We parked at Emory Point, and walked a few blocks to the preserve. We walked by Candler Lake off the paved road. We saw geese and lots of turtles. It was fairly easy to navigate our daughter’s wheelchair until we crossed over the pedestrian bridge to the lullwater tower. It’s bumpy, but manageable. We continued on our route past the lullwater house, and back to the main entrance. Loved the walk! A lot of the walk was in the shade, and the only part we didn’t like was walking all the way back to Emory Point. We need to find closer parking....but otherwise highly recommend!
