tripadvisorReally enjoyable little shop with very low prices. ..and purchases from here will help support education movements, woman's rights, and Faire trade around the globe. I originally thought this was a large bazaar style shopping area, and was surprised it was only a little store in the back of a church, but decided to go anyway since I was killing time until my flight left. I found that although it is tiny, the selection was great and prices very affordable. I got about half of my Christmas shopping done in here! They have beautiful items, all handmade, and all very unique. I would definitely be back if I am in the coral gables neighborhood again.
MoreHere is place with great merchandise (love the jewelry, tunics and scarfs, hand towels, and artisan craftwork) and great prices and you feel great shopping here because you know your purchase is supporting the people who deserve to benefit from their work.
MoreAs a rule, I don't like to shop. But the Fair Trade Global Marketplace has saved my proverbial bacon a number of times by providing convenient, thoughtful, beautiful, last minute anniversary and birthday gifts for my lovely wife. The shop offers a range of awesome fair trade jewelry, women's fashions, toys, chocolates, coffees and decorative items. If you are looking for a something special for that someone special, you will not be disappointed. The Fair Trade Global Marketplace is located on the premises of the historical Coral Gables Congregational United Church of Christ, right smack in front of the no-less-historical Biltmore Hotel. The shop entrance is on the Columbus Blvd. side of the church, near the corner of Catalonia Avenue. A visit to the church grounds is in itself worth the trip. I cannot recommend it more highly. Check it out!
