tripadvisorI stumbled upon this on a walk and have made it a regular stopping point ever since. The history of the location is depicted on a few signs so its a nice break to imagine what the area was like 'back in the day'. But also the view of Lake Santa Barbara and the intercoastal waterway is very nice. Evening time around sunset affords some nice views when Mother Nature puts here glory on display.
MoreThe city has a covered picnic table plus some benches scattered about. Great place to watch yacht action on the waterway
MoreInteresting but not worth a special visit very small . It was inter to think that you are where the Tequesta Indians are buried. Don’t plan on taking the water taxi they cancel the stop and don’t let you know until you call and they say they are NOT stopping
MoreA cute little pocket park designed to protect thee only remaining burial mound in the area. Short path, descriptive plaques, nicely kept green space. The water taxi stops here for boarding.
MoreA nice place to take a walk around and learn about the NATIVE INDIAN'S and each tree has a name well done, the water taxi just added a stop at the park which is convenient.
