The city of Monona puts on an awesome 2 days of activities at Winnequah Park every year. Excellant fireworks display that would put all community fireworks displays to shame. Winneqhay park has excellent facilities which include 2 large pavilions, 3 large playgrounds, 5 ball diamonds, sand volleyball court, and a community pool. In the winter the lagoon is kept clean for skating and the pavilion next to it is closed up to make a warming house.

The concerts in the Park are great. I love the gazebo and the pond. Very relaxing and restful. Also the Park is safe for everyone..

This is a very attractive park with a lot more to offer than most. There is a kiddie section that reminds me of a fairy tale time. There are restrooms, a covered space for bands and such, and a pond. All Monona is invited there for concerts and it's big enough. Its customary not to smoke. Its a healthy environment for families, couples, and all ages. Its a sports field too many days. Sometimes there are many craft booths and food.

Great Pool for the kids in the summer. Great fireworks on the 4th of July. We went there to see an outdoor showing of the Princess Bride.

An awesome experience for the kiddos - with numerous bridges, ladders, slides and monkey bars the only downside I can see is parents having a hard time keeping track of where their children are! My boys can play here for hours! So much fun! The playground is built to look like a large castle with several ways through and around it!
