Grand library. You can really tell that they made accessibility a priority here. They have lots of large print books, audiobooks, many all-gender bathrooms, lots of different types of seating, height-adjustable tables in both the main and the teens section, and even the checkout station is height-adjustable. They also have a fair amount of books in Spanish, and most of the resources they offer (including tax forms, homework help, parent guides to MN education, and food stamp applications) were available in Spanish too. It's got this really gorgeous arching ceiling that's a bit reminiscent of the DC Metro, and a repeating geometric pattern that ties a lot of the interior design together. Plus, they feature an exhibit of student art. There's also an outdoor reading garden, a nearby ice cream shop, and a fireplace with a real (controlled) fire, not that fake stuff! The curation is also a high point: there are themed reading guides, if you liked… guides, and a librarian named Kyle has a special section of Kyle recommendations. Shout out Kyle. Whoever you are, you have good taste in books. Highly recommend!
