We recently visited to look for some travel gear for our next big trip and couldn't believe how great the selection was. Compared to the travel store in Rapid City, this store has so much to choose from. The staff was super helpful and answered all of our questions without pressuring us to buy. We ended up coming back the next week to make a purchase we could have easily made online through Amazon for a few bucks cheaper because of our experience.

For anybody that likes outdoor activities while visiting or staying in downtown Sioux Falls, they should regularly browse the Great Outdoor Store. Although it is not much exercise to park your car 10-30 feet away from their door, the 20-mile bike loop, Big Sioux River trail, Fawick Park and Phillips Ave. are all within a block or so. They have the clothes, accessories, tents, sleeping bags, hydration packs, etc. you will need wherever your travel takes you. My wife and I stop regularly for underwear and socks. We'd buy more often but their pants, shorts, and shirts stay fit and last sooo long.

I love this store! Great brands & knowledgeable workers. Went in to buy shoes came out with much more! It's pricey but the 2nd floor is for sale items for those that are cost conscious.

Stopped in on a recent trip to Sioux Falls and I was surprised to find such a great place away from the mall. I do most of my shopping online but this place had most of my favorite brands. Wonderful culled collections of shoes, clothes and gear. The staff was very helpful without making you feel like you were being followed. I'll definitely go back when I'm in town.
