Vulcan owns and operates Tidewaters only Ra-DAR monitoring network ( RADIO ALARM DIRECT ALARM RECEIVER ). This advanced system allows for more than one transmission pathway when your system is called upon to signal an emergency such as burglary, robbery or fire. Other systems rely on the telephone only which can be circumvented when the lines to your home or business are cut. Vulcan Security Systems, Inc. has been serving Tidewater Residents and Businesses since 1972. Our knowledgeable staff understands your security needs and will respond with effective solutions to your security problems. We use our own technicians and do not "sub-out" your installation like the national companies do. We also provide your monitoring from our own facility right here in Norfolk Virginia. We also do not send your alarm signal to another facility in a completely different city and state as the national companies do. Once you have experienced the service and quality of a totally local company with completely local installers and monitoring facilities, you will see and feel the difference a local company can make when providing such an urgent service to the community.
