Rockin Rudy's has come a long way from its humble beginnings in 1982. The brainchild of Bruce Micklus, this massive store is a treasure trove that is equally eclectic, quirky and funky. A place not to be missed, it boasts to have an impressive music selection in the state which includes vinyl, CDs and DVDs. But its not only music that attracts people to this popular spot. Each room is different featuring unusual stuff that is best given as a gift or kept as a souvenir. Arty items, posters, tees, jewelry, souvenirs, toys, stickers, baubles and more can be found here. Want some tickets for a concert happening in the downtown area, they have them too!

MoreOMG! This store is amazing!! It has everything you could possibly want for souvenirs and great gifts also. It is much larger on the inside than it looks, I could spend two days in there to really look at everything. They have a gigantic card selection which unfortunately I didn't get the chance to look at. The staff is very friendly and super helpful. If we are ever back in Missoula I will most definitely plan to stop here again.
MoreI went to get last-minute stocking stuffers for my wife, and couldn't believe how rude the checkout girls were. Rocking Rudy's used to offer complimentary wrapping of your gifts if you bought the wrapping paper, but this time when I asked if they could wrap my items I was met by both of the checkers being insanely rude to me. One said how fun that would be, but that they didn't do that with a condescending tone and attitude while the other chimed to make fun of me. I told them that was enough, and they went on to talking amongst themselves about how they didn't even want to work and had asked for the day off. The conversation was finished with one giving an insincere have a nice day. Perhaps she was scheduled against her desire due to management seeing how she treats customers? I hope I don't have to see either of them again, as it was the worst part of my day. In regard to the store itself the selection is excellent, making it a shame that some of the employees do little to reflect what could have been an entirely positive experience.
MoreI searched on Tripadvisor for an awesome gift shop to go to while we were in Missoula! Rockin Rudy’s did not disappoint! They had anything and everything you would want from T-shirts, sweatshirts, hot sauce, huckleberry goodies etc. If you are going through Missoula you have got to go to rockin Rudy’s. I ended up going twice while we were there.
