A classic Montana stay in the Madison Valley ★★★★★This was our 25th year as guests at the El Western. Back in 2001, we stayed one night at Our cabin. Since then, we have gradually increased our annual visit. This Fall, we stayed for 32 nights and loved every moment. The log cabins have real character (the place has been around since 1948... but feel comfortable and well kept... the bathroom was spotless. The entire cabin is always clean and neat with annual improvements. Our Creekside two room cabin had a full kitchen, dining and sitting area. The large window allowed us to watch the mountains across the valley change color, as the sun goes down. That and watching animals walk by is always a highlight of the trip. We've even seen a few Moose pass by.The location is ideal: just outside Ennis, so it’s an easy hop into town for shopping, dinner, and the local bars. It is close to the Madison River for fishing, and about an hour to Yellowstone. This region is a Bucket List fly fishing Meca. We also enjoy taking day trips to Virginia City, which is only about 15 miles away.The property manager(s) live on-site and are alway available to assist with just about any need. They really make you feel like family. Maya, at the front desk, was friendly and helpful. This is a wonderful place to base your Montana trip. We count the days until we return again.

These cabins were well kept and very clean. The amenities were great: snacks, TV, fan and wi-fi. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The grounds were beautiful. Deer present and moose spotted nearby. The only thing that was negative was the highway noise most anytime of the day or night.

Wow! Huge shout out to the staff at El Western for all they did and all they provided to help make our wedding reception as beautiful and as mememorable as it was. The guests that booked rooms were incredibly pleased with their stay to include the comfort of their room or cabin as well as the services and hospitality provided by the staff. Highly recommend the El Western for both small, intimate gatherings as well as large group gatherings. This location is beautiful and the staff is wonderful!

El Western cabins are awesome Nostalgic vs vanilla motel America Clean rooms; quiet; immaculate grounds etc Chris is unbelievably helpful with reservations or anything else We are regulars - but 1st time review- so as a regular it should weigh heavily because we keep coming back! Was our 1st time watching parade - great family experience Jumped over to VC for a play and that was great too

A quick trip to Ennis from Wyoming to meet some friends for dinner! The El Western is a perfect place to rest your head. The beds are very comfortable. The extra blankets were a plus. The creek runs directly behind the cabins which provides a relaxing sound for sleeping. The grounds are Meticulously maintained. If they have availability Book it! The Very Best is that they are Pet Friendly!
