Recently had a 3 day family reunion fishing with The River’s Edge. Have been using this fly shop since 1989. Shop has changed as have the guides. New shop on Main Street. Newer guides: Richard, Graham and Henry proved to be knowledgeable and great to fish with. We were 4 in total and had varying skills. The guides were very adaptable and made everyone a better fisher person. It was great to have everything supplied and not have to worry about tippets and flies! Would definitely use this fly shop again.

We had no idea what we were doing but wanted to try fly fishing. The staff helped us get waders and boots. They were helpful and patient. We left a jacket behind and they called us to let us know they had it for when we returned our rentals. Upon returning, the staff asked how our trip went and was genuine during our conversation. Wish all companies treated their customers like this!

I can’t say enough about the customer service at The River’s Edge. We walked in and they had my son fixed up with some rental gear within 20 minutes. The girl working was really nice and helpful. She picked out some flies and gave my son suggestions. 30-45 minutes later, we were at Hyalite Canyon and he’s catching fish!

Very friendly staff. All you will need for Montana fly fishing. Get your license here too. Good selection and fair prices.
