tripadvisorHotel was centrally located with friendly staff. Had great breakfast every morning and our room was clean. My and I were able to walk to all attractions including the Boston Bruins Game on Oct 22nd and the BRUINS WON!!! We had a great trip together can’t wait to come back.
MoreThe young man with the glasses at check in (10/17) was so kind and amazing. I'm so thankful for his great service. He made my experience so wonderful. The young lady at check out was also so kind (10/18). The room was pretty nice, clean, and I had no problem with anything. It was even pretty quiet surprisingly
MoreI just paid $1500 for three nights here and it is STILL a dump. I stayed here two years ago and it was run down, the website claims renovated so I thought I'd give it a shot for a girls' weekend with my sis. So embarrassed when we got to the room and it was worn and shabby - just like the first time I stayed. First - the pros of the hotel. - Great location near MGH, Whole Foods, CVS, and liquor store in back of the hotel, plus many restaurants in walking distance- Walking distance to Beacon Hill- Comfortable beds and bedding- Flour bakery on first floor which is very goodNow the cons:- Room is sub par for $500/night. I feel completely ripped off. I travel a lot for work and get better rooms for 1/3 of the price- No mini fridge or microwave - really? Most hotels have this as standard- Worn and dated furniture and carpet- Bathroom is horrible - chipping enamel on tub, toilet roll holder falling off wall, wallpaper peeling, vanity is a piece of plywood holding up the sink. No storage or even anywhere to put personal items other than the floor.- Ice machines not available on floors 2-8, which means a trip to floor 9 for ice. Machine was old and grossI won't be staying here again, fool me once, etc. I booked another trip to Boston and am staying at the Canopy, which is not too far away, three nights for $1300 and the rooms are light years nicer. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. For the Beacon Hill area, this place is a total dump. Hotel manager, if you're reading this, instead of expressing dismay that I didn't have a good experience, how about a partial refund?
MoreNo one cleaned my room Bar was nice
MoreThere are a lot of positives about this hotel: spacious rooms, very friendly and helpful staff and excellent breakfast to order. The room was a little dated but everything was in good order, a choice on housekeeping was made clear at check in.Although the construction work is clearly outside the hotel’s control it really impacted my stay. Destruction work at 1am, workers shouting at 3am and constant droning meant I’ve had very little sleep.
