tripadvisorAlthough the weather was terrible, a few hardy souls managed to make it to the concert. The program was Music and Sports. We heard the theme from Rocky with a few pictures from the movie and the same with Chariots of Fire, The Natural and ending with film clips from the Eagles Super Bowl win! The guest conductor was wonderful and he can really play his red clarinet! All in all a truly enjoyable evening.
MoreRecently saw Rick Wakeman from YES perform here. The venue is fairly small. We had row 6 seats on the right and they were very good. Seats are very comfortable. There are two parking garages nearby which was great. One of them had event parking for $3!
MoreWhether it's the classical symphony, or jazz upstairs, Miller Symphony Hall has great entertainment at a great price!
MoreThis is a great venue to go to with friends for a relaxing evening. If you are inclined to dine in downtown Allentown there are many choices. The history and anbience of Miller Symphony Hall. I prefer to dine in a restaurant in the burbs and avoid the crowds and hassle of Allentown dining.
MoreI had been there twice before and it seems to get nicer each time I visit. We attended a King Crimson concert there tonight. The acoustics were great. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The theater is very ornate and in fantastic repair.
