If you are looking for oyster bars while shopping or drinking on Rush Street, Hugo's Frog Bar is a superb option. The bar provides fresh oysters daily, from the ubiquitous Malpeque and Bluepoint to Shigoku and Beau Soleil, add a glass of wine or champagne and your visit to the Gold Coast only gets better. The ambience is simple, with wooden bars and tables, faux tin-ceilings, plaid tablecloths and a nautical/fishing theme in the decor. In addition to oysters, the menu features everything from sea bass, scallops and salmon to everyone's favorite crustaceans like lobster and crab. However, those who forego the seafood can choose one of the best steaks in town provided by Gibsons right on the menu. Other specialties include dishes like Shrimp DeJonghe, Escargot and of course, Frog Legs.
