In 1993, lifelong friends Derrick Robles and John Latino brought their vision to life by creating the renowned Bongo Room. Driven by their passion for providing delightful breakfast and brunch experiences, they set out to invigorate people's mornings and set the perfect tone for a remarkable day ahead. With two more outlets in Chicago, this Wicker Park branch is where the story of Bongo Room began. The menu changes seasonally so that guests are delighted with something new often and the best ingredients of the time can be utilized. But the Vegetarian Croissant Sandwich, Breakfast Burrito, and Croissant Sandwich that were featured on their first menu have remained fixtures and are popular favorites at the Bongo Room.
