tripadvisorWe stayed here in Aug & Sept 2025. My husband's ball tournaments had us in town. We were really impressed in August, so we definitely wanted to stay here again. Both times, the room was clean, everything was functional, the breakfast was sufficient, and the employees are friendly and helpful. It's not a 5-star hotel (that you would pay a lot more for), but it's very nice!
MoreHands down, this is the BEST Quality Inn & Suites that we have every stayed at! The desk clerk was courteous and even showed the room to us before we decided to stay. Room & bathroom were very clean. Woodman's store is easy 5 minute drive away with every imaginable organic food selections. Beautiful location in the middle of a cornfield! Air conditioner worked great as did the refrigerator with a small freezer. Beautiful small indoor pool and workout center as well. Continental breakfast was better than most hotels have to offer. Forget staying and paying more $$$ for hotels in Janesville, Beloit, or Rockford!
MoreThis was my third stay at this facility in three years and it started out nice but year three, this place is now the arm pit of the Choice franchise. The desk clerk had body odor so bad that it was near to impossible to get close enough to the desk to check in. I asked to make sure the heat was turned on beccause it is controlled by the deck clerk and he assured me it was. I went to the room and the heat did not work. I was moved to another room and it took almost two hours for the room to warm up enough to take a shower. All the lights and tv are on timers/motion detectors that you cannot control so every 20 minutes or you have to find yourway to a motion detector to turn the lights back on. It was impossible to charge a phone or ipad because the power was constanly interupted. When the tv goes off you have to start all over again from the guide and find your channel again. The breakfast is horriffic and thank Goodness there is a breakfast restaurant just down the road. The black mold in the shower and the ice machine is enough to gag you. Never again, I use Choice for all my stays but next year I will find something different.
MoreSadly just back from the '70s. With no updating whatsoever except for the flat screen television. Run down looking. No USB ports. I came here from Florida and this is the worst hotel I been in since the trip began. The air conditioner smells real funny too. I fell asleep with the window cracked because I didn't want to be one of those customers killed by air conditioner stories. That's my honest opinion. I would not stay here again.
MoreThe bed was great. That was the only thing about this room that was anywhere near great. The lights are on timers, e.g. the lamps in the room and the lights in the bathroom. Having electrical outlets on a lamp that is on a timer and loses electricity is useless if you are charging a cell phone or iPad. The hangers in the room cannot be removed from the rail. What good are they? The bathtub is a negligence suit waiting to happen. Anyone over 60 should avoid this hotel.
