tripadvisorDon’t spend your money at this place! I willStart with the “only” positive I can muster up! They check the stamps of you and your children before exiting, that’s about all for positive remarks. Our party was more than 10 all arriving separately . They immediately want you to go to a separate location and electronically sign a waiver before going back to pay. (We used printed waivers that were laying on the counter and didn’t enter anything, meaning that’s a worthless waiver has something happened)! Mine was a females name and they didn’t even check. They overcharged our granddaughter because she was 2, not three! When we broke out some cupcakes for the 1 year olds b day…… we were intercepted by staff and reminded that outside food was NOT permitted, not even a cupcake! Later when at some games I was reminded that I couldn’t have a beer there, which was the only thing getting me through the ordeal to begin with! I’m an adult, and told I can’t be somewhere because I bought their beer! We spent $ 800 or so that few hours which is $800 they won’t get again. Hopefully others will avoid this place and go to other places who appreciate your business and not try to ruin your birthdays!
MoreVery rude staff regarding my son's food allergies. He has severe restrictions and can't eat anything they serve. I brought his approved sandwich in a zip lock bag to a birthday they were serving pizza at and they refused to let me accommodate my 7 year old son. So when everyone else is eating he has to either sit and watch them alone or go to the car to eat. It is completely unacceptable to ostracize my son for this. The reason the Manager stated was ,because we have a restaurant in house. And very rudely added that I could go somewhere else. I have never run into this before anywhere. Of course I won't pull my son out of this birthday party but I will never support this establishment again.
MoreGreat place to turn kids lose for a few hours and the food is actualy very good. Kids all left with loot they won and we had to threaten them to get them to the table to eat because they were haveing so much fun. No worries though. The fried mushrooms, Pizza and burgers with fries all got eaten along with the chicken fingers as they serve realy good food.Is it cheap? No but compared to other amusment staples it is reasonable and much better quality
MoreThis single dad with a six-year-old daughter met up with single mom of a six-year-old boy and just let the kids have the best afternoon ever. It was crowded with birthday parties and lots of commotion but the kids love the playscape and activities and the snack bar serves reasonably good fare & the atmosphere is relaxing for adults & minimal supervision is required. Meanwhile the teenagers who staff Mt. Playmore are wonderful, which brings me to why I'm writing a review: I lost my card with money on it -- $32.50 to be exact -- and the kids were able to efficiently decommission the old car & issue me a replacement card in just a couple of minutes flat. I want to give a shout out of thnaks to Cruz, Phaezon (sorry if I'm butchering the spelling of your name, sir) and Isabel. The kids never get tired of this wonderful spot. Five Stars & counting!
MoreMt Playmore Review Do not have your child’s birthday party here. We were loyal customers. We would go with our Moms group, we would go on special days, enjoy the food and the playscape. Not anymore. We will never step foot into a Mt Playmore again. Have some had a good party experience? Sure. But is the risk of an awful day for you, your guests and your birthday girl/boy worth it? No way. There are so many other options: We Rock The Spectrum, Little Land, Loco-Motion Inflatable Play, Hop N Happy, Almost Grown, Hoppin House, Catch Air, Jumpstreet, Pump It Up, Inflatable Wonderland, Hang Indoor, Jungle Island, Epic Fun, Jumping for Joy, Indigo Play, and I could name more. Don’t have your party here and regret it like I did. I have waited a few months to post this review so it wasn’t done in anger, so that Mt Playmore had a chance to make it right. They haven’t. After you pay a deposit online if you have any questions there is an automated system on their phones that goes to a voicemail that no one checks or responds to in a timely manner. Once booked, there is little communication and when you do get someone on the phone for questions they aren’t sure of the answer. I knew that we were going to have more adults than children. I knew we needed the biggest room, and I was told that request would be fulfilled. We were put in a room that didn’t even have enough chairs for the 20 child party I signed up for. I called the day before the party and the day of the party over and over to update the child count and confirm details but never could get anyone on the phone. Once we checked in I tried to tell them this in person and they said, “no problem”. I was supposed to have a party host in the room at all times. She was not there, my best friend served food and drinks to the party. We continually had to go find her and ask for things that should have already been in the room and supposedly provided: cups, plates, napkins, plates, no tablecloths. Refills, fruit and veggie tray I ordered in advance and pizza were late and had to be repeatedly asked for. My daughter didn’t get her cape, flashing birthday badge, the 2x motion simulator ride, her 2,000 tickets. The entire party was supposed to get goody bags. Didn’t get those either. And the temperature. It was hot. It was so hot in that room. They brought us a fan because the temperature was so uncomfortable in the room but there was no where to plug it in. It was a disaster of a party. When our time was up in the room we moved out to the tables by the playscape. A young girl came up to me and asked for me to pay. I made my way up to the register to pay and be refunded for the 5 arcade cards and she said she couldn’t do that, only a manager could. I said I would wait. 5 minutes go by and I returned to the table because there was no one at the front desk and no manager had come. Later on, a manager came up to me and said, “you wanted to speak with me?” I said yes and he walked me back to the party room while I told him everything that had gone wrong with the party. He showed me how my party room had a new lower ceiling that caused the heat and he was so sorry that they couldn’t get it cooled off in there and it was something they were working on. He told me how my party host was new and he was so sorry, he would speak to her. He apologized over and over. The next thing out of his mouth should have been, “how can I make this right?” Instead, he said he could not refund me the money for the cards even though I tried to update the party count several times. He said the manager that could do that was not working tonight. I told him he should call her then. He said, “So, you are refusing to pay?” I said, “No sir, I’m refusing to not be reimbursed for cards I am not going to use when we have had such an awful experience, it’s the least you can do.” He kept repeating, “So, you are refusing to pay?” I told him to call the manager that could do something and I returned to my table. He told me he would call the cops if I don’t pay. I told him he was more than welcome to. 3 times this manager came up to my table of my family standing over me with confrontational attitude demanding for me to pay, threatening to call the cops. I had the cash and game cards in my hand ready to pay. He would not take them. We waited for him to get a hold of the manager and he said he couldn’t so we left. He was rude and confrontational with my family and followed us outside. The party was on a Saturday. I called Sunday and Monday and did not hear from the GM until Wednesday. She was very short with me and started with asking for my payment. I told her my story and she said that wasn’t what she was told from the manager on duty and she would have to review the video footage. She called back and said she watched the entire time I was there and agreed my party did not go the way it should. When I said I don’t want or need these game cards, I will not be returning, she said, “I appreciate that.” Eventually, she said she would give me a small percentage off and refund me for the game cards. It was not enough to justify how awful the day went, how we were treated and all the things we did not receive in our “package.” I should have only been charged for admission and food. I went in to pay and was not helped by a manager, the workers there had to call the gm, it was another long, unorganized process. A few weeks later, I received a call from a detective, telling me he was following up on a theft of service from a ___ ___. I told him I didn’t know who that was. Then he said it was from a Mt Playmore. I told him I could send him a picture of the receipt and he said that won’t be necessary, he was sorry to bother me and hung up. What a waste of resources, Mt Playmore. Stay away from this place, trust me!
