The views here of the lake are spectacular. Bring a picnic and enjoy a couple quiet hours. There are paths for walking and a small playground area. There are some benches for looking out over the lake.

The Front park used to be famous in the past. It was quite renowned! Now here is a highway nearby it, but it still has some beauty. The Front Park Nowak Pier is right in front of it. It's a perfect place for a walk. The river flows on both sides and we can walk in peace and enjoy the beauty around us. One day I saw a heron and Canadian geese here. More and more people come here. Most of them do the trail, others are fishing. It's cool and worthwhile to visit.

Nice park to just go walk, look at the river watch the boats go by........ You walk under the Peace Bridge to Lake Erie along a concrete causeway. Despite being close to the I-190 just the geography of the land seems to buffer the noise of the traffic. The park itself is free, free parking, night time lights, generally clean. There is a public washroom and small amenities in a buliding. Picnic tables with permanent BBQ stands and shelters. Police cameras, a modicum of graffiti, it seems to be a more of a white bread place to go so I felt pretty safe here.

It is one of the parks on the way to Canada, that can help you relax , if you were biking or walking.

Tucked between the entrance to the New York State Thruway and the entrance to the Peace Bridge is an entrance to a small park that was once the favorite park in Buffalo. We went there to see a monument to Oliver Hazard Perry and were pleased with the view from The Terrace. It was designed so visitors could see views of Lake Erie and the Niagara River from the bluffs. There are several benches on the Terrace as well as some cannons. There is a Peace Garden and the Perry Monument. Also, there are tennis courts, soccer fields, a playground, and a picnic shelter with several grills. The only restroom I saw was one portable.
