tripadvisorBoth elevators are out of order. Over the previous times I've stayed there, there have always been elevator issues. But now neither worked. We were required to drag all of our luggage up the fire escape. This is unacceptable.
MoreDO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! This sums it up enough. The room was dirty. Broken windows, dirty tub and shower. The water pressure was horrible. If your looking here move on its not worth your stay. The location is centrally located within the city. Would not spend the money on this hotel again. Over all not a good experience.
MoreStay away from this place. The rooms are filthy dirty. Stains on bedding. Carpet has stains. Showers are old, dirty and need repairs. And this was in both our rooms.
MoreClean sheets, comfortable bed, but the rest was a nightmare and we left to change hotels. No working elevators and was on third floor with disability having hard time carrying luggage three flights. Staff, owner maybe, was very rude when we couldn’t find their tiny sign for stairs outside to get to third floor room and he scolded me and said, “It’s not that difficult; it’s over here.” It was all the way in a back with a small grey fire exit door only marked, “wheel chair refuge”. Going past to the door (outside the building, with empty parking lot) a window was open with the fridge and some other things hanging halfway out the window. I was not the only person getting lost. Don’t stay there. We moved to new hotel and didn’t care if we lost the money at Best Western. Fortunately, because of broken elevator, we were able to cancel 2nd night. (Also, when we checked in, the desk called to ask if it was clean for us to check in, thinking we couldn’t hear her going by door. They also, told us there were no other rooms on first or second floor, and they were full, yet, little cars in lot.)
MoreAt the end of check-in the desk clerk said that the elevator was not working and she was sorry for the inconvenience. As we were staying 2 nights I asked if it would be repaired that day and she said no, that a part had to be ordered for the electrical box. She directed me to a door on the outside of the building where we could access stairs to our room on the 2nd floor. Upon carrying our bags through the door no key card access was available so the security door was left unlocked for anyone to enter.
