I did a week long pack trip with the Rich Ranch in Montana & it was incredible! They used mules to pack us in while we rode horses and it was incredibly beautiful! The food was fresh cooked & amazing! The crew was so helpful, sweet & kind! Jack Rich the owner, led us & he knew so much fascinating history about the Bob Marshall wilderness area that it was great! I highly recommend this business if you would like to explore the Bob!

This was incredible, magical , stunning …with all the exclamation points . Took our ten years old granddaughter bc of her love for horses ! The entire stay was epic mostly because of the folks who own and operate it and the entire staff. We felt incredibly safe on the beautiful rides . This professional group was top notch and so fun to connect with during the meals and throughout our stay! The food was plentiful and so delicious !!! We can’t wait for our next visit! Thank you all so very much!

Recently finished another excellent pack trip with Rich Ranch. Everything is very well organized and the packing recommendations are spot on. Food is hearty & plentiful- make sure you save room for dessert! The horses are well trained and very used to the mountain trails. Pre & post nights at the lodge are highly recommended. In addition to providing an outstanding trip, Rich Ranch is a dedicated steward of the wilderness. Thanks for all you do.

The time I spent at Rich's Montana Guest Ranch was the most amazing vacation I have ever had. From Jack meeting us at the airport to the food, the horses, the lodging, the scenery, the staff....everything was top notch.Being new to horseback riding...haven't ridden in 50 years...it was an experience I will never forget and definitely plan on repeating in the near future for as long as I am able. They truly make you feel like family. My first day, I was shaking after the ride. By the fifth day, I was comfortable going up and down mountains and crossing streams.The wranglers and guides that led our rides were encouraging and fun.I CAN'T WAIT TO GO AGAIN!

Another amazing trip to my favorite place with the best staff! I can’t say enough about this place. The staff makes you feel more like family than guests. Came with many women & different riding abilities, but they helped every step of the way & went out of the way to accommodate us.
