The hotel was beautiful with big rooms. The pool is well kept and clean. Only negative was their check in isnt until 4pm which to me feels very late. Also the front desk was not very friendly.

Stayed here while moving my child into college. The front desk, especially Lauren, were beyond helpful in accepting deliveries for us even with snafus. Parking was easy and, since not valet like the nearby hotels, we never had to wait for our car. Would definitely recommend this place again. Clean, inexpensive, and very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was vast, casual and enjoyable. Good coffee.

No hair conditioner in the dispenser, (I usually bring my own but had forgotten mine), only 2 towels, dirty shower walls, dirtyLinens on the bed, (some sort of dried flowers in the bed and a dead bug) musty stinky room, dirty lamp shades with dust, dirt, and hair on the shades. The lobby appeared nice, and the kids had fun in the pool. Old and outdated furnishings. I would not recommend this hotel, and I would not book here again.

Wouldn't recommend this location. Booked hotel because of the game room and location for a three day stay. I knew something was wrong as soon as we checked in. The lobby had no air-conditioning and the two main elevators were out of order. We checked in at 6pm and went to dinner since it was a long drive. We came back from dinner to check out the hotel and that's when it went further downhill. Several people weren't able to get back into the hotel from the parking garage because the door wasn't working. I noticed all the ice machines were out of order after I purchased a July 20th outdated Pepsi. The pool was a maze to try and find but what had us the most upset was the game room was closed. Looked like it had been closed for sometime. My son was super upset this was one main reason for choosing the hotel. We went to the front desk and the receptionist said yes its been closed. We were then informed what was a restaurant in pictures for the hotel was just a breakfast area. Pictures showing liquor and televisions like a bar. No bar on the hotel grounds! We checked out a little before 9pm same night and stayed elsewhere. Since then I've been charged $200 so I've reached out to Shana Bendawald not once but twice to no call back. They are advertising false amenities and taking advantage of people!

The Clayton Plaza Hotel never misses a beat.We first experienced this hotel in 2019, and it was simply amazing. The look and feel of this hotel gives off old-time glamour with a beautiful English vintage vibe. The hotel is exceptionally clean and smells amazing. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff were beyond pleasant. Their hospitality was so refreshing and sincerely appreciated. You can truly tell that the owners cherish this hotel. Since our first stay, they’ve completed several renovations and upgrades, and I really appreciate the effort they’ve put into maintaining and improving the property. The hotel was beautiful back in 2019, but in 2026 it’s even better than ever. The bathrooms received a modern facelift, bringing them up to today’s standards while still preserving the hotel’s timeless charm, and it was lovely to see.Our room was spotless, smelled amazing, and was incredibly comfortable. I honestly have nothing bad to say about it. The bed was sooo comfortable! The pool was also well maintained, just like the rest of the property. Overall, this is a very classy hotel that takes pride in providing a great guest experience. Now, let’s get to the highlight of the hotel—the complimentary breakfast! There were quite a few options to choose from, which we appreciated. However, if management happens to see this review, my only suggestion would be to rotate the breakfast menu daily or every couple of days. We stayed for four nights and had the exact same breakfast each morning.Other than that small suggestion, our experience was a 10 out of 10. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Clayton Plaza Hotel to anyone looking for a clean, elegant, and welcoming place to stay.
