This hotel is wonderful. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and well kept. We enjoyed the morning breakfast. I would definitely stay here when coming back to saint louis.

Needs some sprucing up overall but was clean and bed was comfortable in the room I had. Staff is always nice.

The room had a previous smoker and it STUNK. It must have been previously reserved for a smokers use because the smell was not from “one time use”. It did not have a hair blower only the backside of metal hanger was still attached to the wall. When this was mentioned to the front desk it was as if…oh well. No offer to put us in another room. The toilet ran for two days off and on and was able to be heard while trying to sleep. Did NOT get our room refreshed while we were gone for the day and we really needed clean towels. Also our room phone rang at 2:30 AM waking us out of sleep with someone wanting the front desk. How they reached our room is a mystery to us. Also, handicapped spots were not monitored (which should be easily accomplished) by the front door. My husband had to walk the entire parking lot with his cane while two cars with no handicap indication remained parked all night. In hindsight we wished we had called the Kirkwood police.

Convenient location for a show at Kirkwood Performing Arts Center. But rates double on weekends and it wasn't a good value at the rate I paid. My room had not been well cleaned- dirty table and lots of debris on the floors. I tried to call housekeeper, but the phone didn't work. The housekeeping manager came up shortly to vacuum and clean. The rooms are old and furniture and fixtures are stained, but bed was very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was good and there's an attached Chili's restaurant where we had a good dinner. Parking is free. Adequate stay for one night.

The photos shown here could not be at this motel. On the list of motels that we have stayed at, this was at the bottom. The room was not clean, in fact, there was a dark glob of something in the closet and the bath tub didn't look like it had been cleaned in years. The door to the refrigerator would not close and stuck out about a foot. The towels were damp and there were not enough in the room for 2 people. There was only a 3rd of a roll paper, no extra roll. You had to pay for the TV and when I asked about the missing key, the clerk said if there was no key, they didn't have one. No offer to have a key made or apology for something that was advertised but didn't work.
