We were in town for the Metallica concert June 20-June 23/2025 (Awesome shows)The front desk staff (except for one agent at night) were super friendly, kind, helpful, and very engaging with us as visitors to their property. I did not like one guy at night that directed me check in next door as they had a working pool. (Not Cool) This hotel is located in a great area near Lawrence Expressway on the boarder of Santa Clara and Sunnyvale. The area appears to be very safe. There is more than enough parking for guest. They do have a ice machine. The rooms come with a iron and ironing board. There is a small microwave, a mini fridge, and Keurig in the room as well. Cable tv with (dish network) you must put tv on channel 1 and watch the guide scroll. A hair dryer in the bathroom, with a shower/tub combo. There is not a lot of space to store your clothing. There is NO safe. The wifi worked really well as we had 8 devices connected in just one room. The women doing housekeeping we very RUDE. The played loud music in the hallways while they were cleaning. If you asked them for something, they were not able to communicate in English (that really sucked) What is not here but advertised: There is NO breakfast. There is NO business center. And most importantly there is NO working swimming pool. I have attached photos of what the pool looked like during our stay. I have confirmed with friends who live in Santa Clara as of 06/27/25 the pool still looks the same as in the photos. This prompted me to contact code enforcement of Santa Clara County. The rooms can be extremely noisy if you are on the 1st or 2nd floor.There was a heavy presence of prostitution during our stay as a few rooms had revolving doors of men coming and going early morning and very late at night. Sad to say but I would not stay here again because of the lack of amenities, and the noise level in the rooms. It is a motel 6 with a fancier bed.

The facility is fine. No smell issues. Bottled water and a Keurig are a nice touch. No fitness facility. I was disappointed because that is why I chose this place based on the listed information..

The inn overall was very clean and neat. Parking lot was always clean. Inside the rooms, the space was newer than other like rated hotels. TV and other appliances were working fine. Vik was extremely helpful and all the staff members were courteous as well! Would definitely stay here again!

The Cherry Orchard Inn is one of the best value budget stays in Sunnyvale / Santa Clara. The location is great along a main road with many restaurants and retail facilities within walking distance. The staff are very helpful. There's a guest laundry, and housekeeping is also excellent. The room is spacious, clean and well maintained. I would strongly recommend anyone to stay here for even mid to long term stays. I have no doubt you'll be well taken care of.

The rooms are comfortable, clean and well maintained. The front desk staff is friendly, professional, helpful and ready to serve. Adam always has my paperwork and room key ready and waiting when I arrive. The service is always top notch. The morning manager Mary Ellen always greets me warmly and always has fresh coffee brewed at the crack dawn and earlier. Thanks.
