We are still talking about our private Detroit Bus Tour (52 participants) with Michigan Travel last summer. I live in the Detroit Metro area since 42 years, but it was still an eye opener about hidden treasures of Detroit I was not even aware of. Our tour guide Steffi made the four-hour tour interesting and very enjoyable with her profound knowledge about the area. But it was not a dry lecture at all, as Steffi is most entertaining and made us laugh a lot with her great sense of humor. She had several stops planned and the entire trip was perfectly organized. She even handed out snacks and water on the bus. We all had fun and a really great time and want to do another tour with her in the near future. Most entertaining tour I've ever been on. Also, the bus driver was terrific, we felt safe all the time.

We had many Germans and German-Americans on the sold-out bus tour of Detroit this past summer. Steffi was really informed and an excellent tour guide. The tour was planned beautifully and people welcomed us at every stop. We toured urban, living gardens and received a brief presentation on what it all meant. We also toured the Russell Industrial Center. A structure that we passed hundreds of times. The center is filled with art studios, fascinating art and a colorful history. Another highlight was Eastern Market. We especially enjoyed and were grateful for all the tips Steffi and her team provided and we will able to maneuver the market better. We even toured the Guardian Building, my first time in the building. It caused a few chuckles, because I was one of the only native Michiganders on the tour. We are already planning our next trip to other parts of exciting Detroit with Michigan Travels. 100% dependable, exciting and well-planned by a great company.
