tripadvisorAwesome facility!!!! Michigan State University Archery Team did a great job holding their annual Fall Classic.
MoreWhenever I visit family in Michigan I get to shoot at this range. It is worth the trouble of hauling my bow along on the airplane. It is the nicest range I have ever been to anywhere. They also have a firearms range, but I like to reuse my ammunition.
MoreWell run. You take a 20-minute class on weapon handling and then you can bring your own or rent equipment. I have only used the indoor range, and it was fun!
MoreI visited this facility to try out a new firearms range in my area. Brought my wife with me to introduce her to shooting as well. Checked into the range and signed up. Front desk was very knowledgeable about all their services and very friendly. She was able to answer all of our questions and point us in the right direction. But then this small grey haired man comes over and starts questioning my wife and myself about why we are there and if we signed up for the most expensive class he could find. He kept pushing us to sign up for two classes until one of the staff members intervened and took us back to the classroom. We asked who that man was and he told us it was the Manager! That shocked us. When we asked the front desk lady for the manager's card she give it to us and told us we already spoke with him if we needed anything. We went out to shoot and the staff on the range were very helpful with teaching my wife and keeping the range safe. We shot for about a half hour before the Manager came out to the range. He pulled up to the lane next to use and pulled a pistol out of his pocket and started shooting. He couldn't hit his target but found it funny to try and shoot my wives target. He said it was to help her to beat me at shooting so she didn't feel bad for being a woman. We left without finishing out session. The manager made a joke with the staff that she just wasn't tough enough to handle shooting. The staff came out and apologized immedetaly for their manager's actions. But as long as Michael is there, the firearms range is not a safe, friendly, open environment for any customer. The staff were great, but the Manager has no place running a shooting range or any service business.
MoreThe staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Price was reasonable for indoor gun range. There is also archery.
