Overpriced, and hardly saw any animals. Large, be prepared for lots of walking as other reviews state. The habitat designs were not conducive to people actually seeing the animals. Aquarium was great and a highlight, my kids and I enjoyed more than the SeaLife Aquarium. Didn't mind the walking but rather disappointed with the habitat designs and the rare sightings of animals.

Was a good experience until the end. We ended up at the elephants at the end and went to take the shortcut up behind the sea lions den. We saw others go that way to and even passed a few employees. We had gotten up almost all the way and we're told by staff we had to turn around and walk all the way back and around with our two young hot children. There were no signs or blockages indicating it was off limits to guests from the elephant area, their park signage and maps still indicated it was a pedestrian path open to the guests as a shortcut back to the front.

So much fun! Beautiful zoo! The animals were active and in large clean areas. Lots of walking! Get the tram ticket and refillable drink cups, it's so worth it!Plan all day or you'll never see everything!Easy to get around with stroller. Lots of shadeClean bathrooms everywhere. Longer hours would be nice in the summer heat!We will be back!!

We must have picked the day where all the schools had field trips to this zoo. It’s your basic zoo, I liked the boat, trams, trains, and fly overs, to get a good view of space. Since it was a warmer day a lot of the animals found themselves a comfy spot to nap the day away so you really couldn’t see many of them. I wish the bird enclosures were a bit bigger so the birds could stretch their wings a bit. There is quite a bit to do and see, and if the adult gets bored there are adult beverages to be had.

Always a nice visit to the KC Zoo and Aquarium, mid April pleasant weather. Today there were a lot of families but it didn't feel crowded.Pleasant Day to take a stroll, need my daily steps.Plenty of children's activities. Zoo is upgrading some exhibits like the giraffes was told should be open in June. All other animals were up and doing their thing.Food options basic hot dogs, chicken strips. Would be nice if they upgraded to a more formal restaurant.Souvenirs like stuffed animals are a good deal. I will try to buy them from the zoo rather than at a discount store. Superior quality here.Do visit. Enjoy a lovely day at the Kansas City zoo and aquarium.
