There are many bars (some with live music), restaurants, shopping, a cool bookstore, and lots more. One could spend an entire day on this street with ease. Great people watching as well.

This is a great area in KC with lots of restaurants and shops, crafts, bars, ice cream, etc. A very worthwhile area to hang out in the afternoon and then again in the evening.

This is a great place to come spend time. BBQ, Fric and Frac, Hi Dive, Po's Dumplings, Jazz, Taj Palace, Aladdin Cafe, Mr. Z's, Prosperos Books, Miami Ice...List goes on and on. Park and walk around to shops and food, drinks and friendly people. I should now, I've lived within walking distance for over 25 years and love it today as much as when I first arrived. It's a village and it awaits you.

Move 39th Street West to the top of your favorite neighorhoods in Kansas City. It has its own European, eclectic vibe. Pub/bars, highly rated restaurants, one of a kind used book store, music stores, vintage clothing, coffee shops, ice cream ... shall I go on?!
