Was a bit disappointed with my wandering around this neighborhood, actually. Caveat that I went on a Saturday morning, so things were a little quiet, but overall I found this to be a cute area with a lot of variety in restaurant and bar options, but not much else. Would plan to come here for a meal, but less of an area for strolling and shopping.

Be aware of crime in the area. Met friends at a Westport bar/restaurant. The experience inside was enjoyable. Upon leaving, I witnessed two individuals in the process of stealing contents out of my vehicle after they had broken a window to gain access. KCMO PD told me to file a report online or wait 4 hours for an officer.

Weatport was a fun area. We visited some cool bars and restaurants. We felt very safe walking around. Great atmosphere.

Took the KC Streetcar to Westport to grab a bite to eat. The food was great! If you like to eat and have a good time this is the place to be in the late afternoon/evening.
