This place gives the Hampton name a very bad reputation. The carpet is so dirty, my socks are dirty and making dirt footprints on the tile in the bathroom. The toilet will not flush properly. The room smells of dirty feet. I asked for another room and the receptionist said there’s only one other queen room available. She wouldn’t let me have just any room since I paid for a queen room. At other Hampton Inns, they would just want to make it right. Well, the other queen room smelled of THC, so I went back to the first room we had. Honestly, I’m guessing all the rooms have some issues. If you value staying at Hampton Inns because of great service and clean rooms, this is NOT the place.

I was put in such a deep slumber. The front counter girl was attentive and friendly. I was very for two nights and had an easy time navigating the halls of the hotel, going to and from my room and car. The rooms are clean, the airport shuttle was a nice perk, and the location to the rest of KCMO is perfect.
