tripadvisorThis was a must do on our trip to Dallas and it didn't disappoint. We had an awesome tour guide all to ourselves. We learned so much we didn't know because of his local expertise. Highly recommend!
MoreIt can't. Overpriced. Lines to get in, tourist trap on the first floor at site of exit. A collection of photographs, a bunch videos that you could find in the web, and a view of the corner where Oswald shot the president (enclosed by plastic or glass). Not worth the expense, the time spent, plus the trouble finding a parking spot. We did not visit the roaming house of Oswald. Maybe, having a guide, for those unacquainted with history, may offer some value. There are other excellent places to visit in the Dallas- Fort Worth area that you must consider like two fine art museums, two symphonic orchestras, two well designed zoos, The Perot museum, the Dallas World Aquarium, the Stockyards, etc., etc.
MoreThis tour is thought provoking and informativePreston the guide had all the answers to the many thought provoking question. He kept everyone enthrauled throughout the afternoonIt was so scerene actually standing close by to where those tragic events unfolded in 1963
MoreNot sure what some prior reviewers commented on as far as the experience but the book depository museum was outstanding! You need to go with the willingness to dive deep and learn about not just the event that took place itself but about the era, JFK's life, and immediate and continuing conspiracy theories. It's like you are on a personal guided tour with the headphones as well as all the visuals and recreations. Very cool and so glad this is something that is still out there for younger generations to experience. More of our past is being forgotten and this is just one of the numerous things that happened which helped shaped our nation in so many areas.
MoreInteresting, informative, well worth the $18 entry fee, an audio tour easy to follow, centred around the assination of JFK in 1963. They have a children's audio version for the younger visitors which was great to see. Highly recommend doing this tour
