Capital Arts is an awesome art gallery the offers affordable artwork by local artists. The gift shop has unique items all year round and they stock up during Christmas season! We had about 10 girls meet at the gallery for a painting class. We brought our own drinks and snacks and told the teacher what we wanted to do. A great time was had by all!

The exhibits are interesting, rotate from time to time, sometimes local school submissions, some professional pieces as well.

There is always featured artists displayed. The most recent was artists that submitted paintings that fit the criteria for transportation. One of my friends did an awesome watercolor. He does beautiful work. I had an oil but unfortunately missed the deadline for entry. There are other items throughout also. Some of the works can be purchased.

This is a very nice art gallery. It is clean and consistent. There is usually different dhows during the year that you should defiantly see. The art is sometimes for sale and is a semi-reasonable price. There are very good local artists who deserve to be recognized in this museum. I recommend you stop by and see it for a little. e
