Reviews
tripadvisorI spent six nights, including a weekend, at the Hampton Inn in Brooklyn in order to be near the Federal Courthouse. While the room was fairly small, everything was very clean! What impressed me the most was the wonderful and helpful staff. Ki, Levi, and Tristin all went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable and cared for. I have stayed at fancy hotels that advertise their customer service that come nowhere near matching the customer service here. Water is always available and a wide variety of snacks for purchase were a small touch that added to the benefits for me. The location is good for walking across the Brooklyn Bridge and easy to get Taxis or Ubers. I more than 100% recommend this hotel.
MoreWe have been trying to find a clean, safe, quiet and comfortable hotel since our children moved there 3 years ago. After many misses, we found our gem. The Hampton Inn met all of our criteria and was affordable. The customer service there was as good as it gets, and i have stayed at many 5 star hotels and resorts around the world. I especially want to say that Ki, Levi, Joe were personable and extremely pleasant and went out of their busy way to make sure our needs were met. Fletcher too who runs the place was fantastic. Look no further than the Hampton Inn when staying in Brooklyn!
MoreThis hotel is nicely situated if you want to go see The Brooklyn Bridge and walk the promenade. The area is bust but safe enough. Parking is available, but at same location the hotel uses is cheaper if you use parking apps. The police station and fire department is right behind it. The streets are pretty straight forward to maneuver, and Lyft is great. Typical Hampton breakfast. Rooms are really small. The staff is outstanding! Helpful and communication is great. No issues with stay.
MorePros:I received an email to ask if there was anything that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. That was a nice touch. It was our 27th wedding anniversary so they gave us a room with a view.I am a Hilton Silver member so we received snacks and water. We were there for 3 nights so housekeeping gave us turndown service.Cons:Parking is expensive No in and out priveledges with parking. When it rains the satellite TV doesnt work. But Netflix, and HBO Max does.Otherwise, it was a nice stay!
MoreI am so disappointed in this Hampton Inn - especially seeing its 4.6 star rating. The carpeting throughout the hotel is worn and dirty/stained. I am quite certain I did not have clean sheets. There was a strong body odor smell. The mattress pad was missing and the bed was very uncomfortable-not your standard Hampton Inn mattress. The refrigerator in room did not work. I was brought a hot replacement fridge that had no chance of cooling for next 24 hours. The elevator sounded like grinding gears with bounce landings and loud clicking noises. Overall hotel is tired, run down and substatially below Hilton Hampton Inn standard.
