Severe noise made it impossible to sleep. The east corner of the 4th floor -- roughly rooms 458 ~ 470 -- was subjected to an extremely loud noise every few minutes, comparable to a helicopter landing on the roof. This goes far beyond ordinary hotel noise. I also noticed similar complaints from other guests, which suggests this is a recurring issue. Guests should not be assigned affected rooms without advance warning. Management needs to address the source and provide suitable alternatives until it is resolved.Poor breakfast. At $25 plus tip, I expected substantially better. The selection was very limited, the baked goods were soggy, and the food was generally disappointing. Table service was minimal, which made being directly asked for a tip particularly off-putting.Unreliable Housekeeping . The hotel says rooms are cleaned every other day by default for environmental reasons, but even that schedule was not consistently followed. Explicit housekeeping requests were also frequently missed. Other problems further affected comfort. The east-side elevator was very slow, and the air conditioning was noisy, adding to the overall impression that the property needs more attention.

The room was well furnished and very comfortable. The hotel staff was very professional. For anyone visiting Stanford I highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn..

I had a very disappointing experience at Hilton Garden Inn Palo Alto. After my stay, I noticed unauthorized charges added to my bill that were not disclosed at check-in — in fact, I was given incorrect information about the charges upfront. When I called to dispute them, I was told a manager would call me back. It has now been over two weeks, and despite repeated follow-ups on my end, no one has reached out. To make matters worse, they have not even shared a copy of the receipt I requested. The complete lack of accountability and communication has been frustrating and feels deliberate. I would caution future guests to carefully review their folio before checking out and to get every charge in writing. I hope management eventually takes ownership of these issues — but based on my experience, I would recommend looking at other hotels in the Palo Alto area to avoid the same hassle.

Exceptional customer service from the front desk representative Sienna. Sienna was friendly and very responsive to our requests. Being a former Forbes 5 Star customer service trainer, Sienna excelled in all aspects.

We stayed here one night for a business event and it was clean and convenient. The staff was friendly and there is a restaurant and bar on site though we didn’t use it. We ate instead at Hobee’s next door. Our only gripe is the parking. You have to pay separately via app and it was confusing. There doesn’t seem to be any difference between parking for public or room guests. I paid for overnight, my receipt said it expired at 10:53 am (even though I paid at 12:30) then the next morning at 9:15 I got a text saying it was expiring in 15 minutes. The staff don’t really understand how it works yet so they couldn’t help. Other than that it’s a quiet clean place, close to Stanford and plenty of places to eat.
