Renaissance is a resale shop but consigners beware. The store has a dirty little secret! And it's not just the clothes.It wasn’t until last week when I went to my closet that I remembered what I wanted to wear was at Renaissance in Santa Barbara. When I called the store, I was told, “Oh, it sold in December ’21. But there was no notice to me of the sale OR my 40% check snail mailed to me.I had come several times after consigning it in December ’19 to retrieve it But was always persuaded to leave it on sale!Last week, the staff said, we don’t have time to call or mail a check every time we sell something. So, we wrote you a check and kept it for a year. But you never came to pick it up (because I wasn’t told it was there) and now we don’t owe you anything.So, they sold my designer jacked for hundreds of dollars and kept all the money for themselves. This is theft. They are stealing our clothes and our commissions. Please don't go there!

Store in front of the building Arcada, it was a nice surprise entered in this store. Only clothes from luxury brands in a beautiful decor (also vintage shoes and bags). Lovely staff.

Walking down State street we checked out this consignment shop. Seems like there is a lot of vintage stuff in this shop. Upscale items. They have really nice things there at quite reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This is a must when visiting Santa Barbara. The consignment pieces are upscale; St. John, etc. The layout of the store makes browsing easy. The purchase pressure is very low. Clothes, shoes, purses, and jewelry are consigned. The pieces are well cared for and current style.

I stopped by when I read the reviews on trip advisor. Is a wonderful place and the lady behind the counter was very nice and helpful.
