tripadvisorIf personal mobility is an issue, this is not a place to go. Cement sidewalks everywhere. Benches scattered about for comfort. Some of the animals were not visible.
MoreThe Topeka zoo is small but lovely. They have lots of animals to see including elephants and tigers which not many zoos have. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We went on tiger day and they were passing out free cookies and all around the zoo they had themed tiger activities like tiger hats and face painting. Great place to visit with the family.
MoreLovely little zoo! We were really impressed with how nice it was. Good exhibits, a stunning Japanese garden, and friendly, helpful staff. Well worth a day out!
MoreZoo was great. The streets were horrible. Orange cones and detours everywhere. And the streets that were opened are so bad they should have been closed. Makes you wonder if the street department, if there is one, isn't managed by all of the local tire and front end repair shops. You might be stopped for drunk driving avoiding the potholes. Oh. And the local cuisine is 'meh' at best.
MoreThe Topeka Zoo is small but provides an enjoyable experience. My St Louis Zoo membership allowed us to get in for free. You can easily make it through the zoo in an hour and a half.
