This is a great dive bar! The place is gritty with clean bathrooms that contain a healthy dose of interesting graffiti. The bartenders and staff are friendly and dressed in the usual uniform of all black.We ended up here on a Thursday night at 10:00pm to listen to music. There was no cover charge. Sabbatic has no tables to speak of, but was filled to the brim with standing patrons all jumping and dancing to the live music. A great experience!Milwaukee law does not allow smoking inside any establishment, so the bar was smoke free. Benches are placed outside for any smokers or those needing a break from the booming music.Go here and rock out to great, loud, and all original rock music. No cover bands!But bring your ear plugs!

Just dropped in not knowing what to expect and was a terrific decision. Service, atmosphere, and drinks were great. Being from Houston, we were given great advice and suggestions for our time in Milwaukee and Green Bay. Would definitely come back here and highly recommend making this a stop for anyone else in the area.

Whenever I go to Milwaukee, I go here. I always have a good time. Its a great dive bar. The bar tenders are great. They have an amazing $0.99 15 minute time frame and their prices are always good. I highly recommend it.
