Quality Inn & Suites Omaha Chalco Hotel

Extra activity adds interest to an otherwise quiet hotel. A full-service restaurant dishes up a variety of meals, while the lounge offers guests a chance for guests to kick back. A relaxing atmosphere prevails at the indoor pool and hot tub. Rooms include coffeemakers and alarm clocks. Ironing equipment, hairdryers and data ports require an upgrade. Whirlpool suites offer an extra bed and a living room. The nearby Kennedy Freeway provides easy access to downtown Omaha.

Mexican Restaurant nearby and Fast-food outlets. the room was very clean and tidy. the beds were clean and comfortable. It had some creature comforts which included a microwave, Fridge, coffee/tea maker, and the TV had all the apps such as Netflix, Direct TV which you could log into. There was a small indoor pool which was good and was well maintained. Breakfast was a little disappointing as the hotel advertised a full breakfast but it was only a lite breakfast.

The Good - The front desk clerk was very friendly and accommodating. The Bad - Towels had spots on them, leading us to wonder if they were dirty or just stained. Shower curtain was too long which made it have that pink scum along the bottom. Walls had areas of dried stuff on them in various places. Baseboard trim in bathroom was separating from the wall. Room was EXTREMELY humid, even with A/C on. Fireworks in the hotel parking lot until well after midnight.

Had to stay for one night traveling through with the family. The blankets in room smelled terrible. The coffee maker well I attached a picture you can see for yourself. Guy in the front looked like we were bothering him getting up from his chair to check us in. Really gross place wasn’t expecting much but they somehow went lower than the low bar I was expecting. Also tub leaking at base so the trap is obviously leaking and guaranteed under the tub is a ridiculous amount of black mold. Skip this one guys for real. Honestly a health hazard.

Hotel had bed bugs in multiple rooms, would not offer compensation. Police report was filed. Hotel would only offer 1 night compensation on 3 night stay. Absolutely did not recommend!

Stayed for a quick rest mid 15 hr road trip based on good rating on Expedia. Out dated, elevator did not work (we were on 2nd floor and had items we could not leave in car) and expensive (Friday and College world series). Someone had brought or cooked food and the hallway our floor smelled really strong. Skipped breakfast, too crowded. Did it work for sleep and a shower? Yes. Would we stay here again? No.
